I Am First.

 

The Career Center is accepting applications for our Spring 2024 I Am First Program. The deadline to apply is Friday, January 12th. The program's capacity is 50 students so apply ASAP.



The Spring semester I Am First Program is open to 3rd/4th year and transfer students who identify as the first in their family to go to college in the US. There will be 5 sessions in person and 4 held virtually. The in-person sessions will not be recorded, you must be available to be on campus for each of the 5 in-person sessions. 

In-person session dates: 3/1, 3/8, 3/29, 4/26, 5/3

Virtual session dates: 3/15, 3/22, 4/12, 4/19



If accepted to this program you must be available on Fridays from 10 am-12 pm between March 1st and May 3rd and miss no more than 2 sessions to qualify for a Scholarship Opportunity.



I Am First is a non-credit course with the opportunity to receive a Career Readiness Certificate upon successful completion.

If you are a Junior or Senior and your schedule will not allow you to participate in Spring, we also offer a Summer Cohort for transfer, 3rd and 4th years. Applications for summer open up during then end of spring semester.
